Harboring the Demons - OOAK art doll with summoning circle base
This possessed girl sits in her containment circle of salt and candles, grasping a sharpened rock, which she has used to carve protection sigils into her skin, trying desperately to keep the demons within and stop them escaping into the world.
She comes with her sculpted stand which holds her inside a circle of salt with candles, bones and a tiny ancient bible (bible has the new testament replicated in tiny writing inside and can be opened and read)
She is a sitting doll, approx. 16" in length, and the entire piece is approx. 9" x 10"
Her hair is natural fibres and her eyes are sculpted, and handpainted, her short, torn and aged dress is handsewn.If you wish to reposition her ams slightly please do so by holding her above the elbow to reduce risk of damage, legs can only be very slightly repositioned near hips for balance if needed.
A signed Certificate of Authenticity is included and the piece will arrive in a sturdy packing box, to keep her snug and safe.
I only sell pieces I have sculpted myself, this is a mixed media sculpture, please see the 'info' page for info on materials I like to use. Clothes cannot be removed and hair should not be brushed.

I only sell pieces I have sculpted myself, each doll is a unique and one-of-a-kind original sculpt and cannot be recreated. I design and sculpt each piece, then sand, paint, pastel, costume, wig and accessorize.
These are handmade items and as such there will be the odd fingerprint, brush stroke, dropped stitch, spot of glue or other tiny 'flaws' - just like in us all. Any holes, fraying, stains or marks on the clothes are part of the overall design of the doll.
My sculptures are mixed media and intended as an adult collector's item for display only - please handle with care.
